Dear faithful readers:

It is time that I might as well admit it. I'm too lazy to keep the "blog" portion of jawatusi running. And when I DO post stuff, it sometimes turns out that I have posted year old news or some shit. And when I post this year old news, ad scripts spam the comments section with... ads!

I deleted 728 spam comments from one of the newer posts a week or two ago. So i have shut off what little interactivity you had with my old news posts.

None of the problems are insurmountable. The spam, the oldness of the news, the intermittent posts. However, they ARE insurmountable fi I'm lazy. and I'm lazy. That is the crux of the biscuit now, isn't it?





So, from here on out, Jawatusi has no blog. Ok, from about a year ago on out, Jawatusi has had no blog. If you sill want to see the old posts, click the "news" button up there.

This section maybe someday be taken up by something new! but something almost, but not quite, entirely UNLIKE a weblog.

I know this is a sad day for many. Like your relative disappeared a year ago in a sunken ship, and you were waiting, in vein, for the phone call from the Guatemalan police saying they had found your father, who had built a raft out of floating debris and rope made out of his own back hair in order to ride out that category 5 hurricane, floated for several months, surviving on intermittent meals of uncooked jellyfish, and landed on a remote island off the coast of central america, where for a year he lived with the primitive natives until a wayward surveying vessel picked him up and took him to the mainland, where he is currently recovering in a hospital. But no, your hopes were ill-founded. You relative isn't coming back. Jawatusi isn't coming back.

I know its painful, but we have to move on.

I'm posting this at about 1pm on sept 1, 2005. I wonder how long it will be before anyone notices. Note that the email link on the side over there is a lie. That email addy doesn't work any more. So if you feel the desire to tell me about your sorrow, use AIM.
